About this venue

Location

80-82 New South Head Road, Vaucluse. The club overlooks the bowling greens and is located close to Vaucluse shopping precinct.

Uses

Social events, family gatherings, children's birthday parties, recreational activities (eg yoga, Zumba, exercise and movement classes), community groups and workshops, private functions, conferences, workshops and seminars.

Are Jumping Castes and Animal Farms Permitted?

Jumping castles and other inflatable devices are not permitted inside any halls.

There is an open space, public park located in front of the venue. Please note that hiring the hall does not permit exclusive use of this space. It may be hired for activities such as jumping castles, pony rides, petting zoo and organised sports activities.

Note: These devices/entertainment are to be hired from an independent provider and are not provided by Council.

You would need to complete a Park Hire for Special Events form and an Amusement Devices Activity Approval form. You would also need to supply Council with a copy of the amusement device supplier’s Certificate of Currency showing Public Liability Insurance to the value of at least twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) per claim for the intended period of hire.

Maternity, Child and Family Health Services

South Eastern Sydney Local Area Health is operating at Vaucluse Bowling Club and Community Facility. The organisation provides Maternity and Child & Family Health care services, including midwifery, antenatal and postnatal assessments as well as early childhood health and developmental checks, breastfeeding support and New Parent Groups to the local community.

Equipment and facilities available:

  • Commercial kitchen includes oven, microwave, instant boil taps, commercial size fridge,  dishwasher, 12 x tables (standard trestle table, Dimensions: 1830 (W) x 750 (D) x 730 (H) mm) and 100 chairs.
  • Audio visual equipment includes: screen, data projector, speakers, microphone, lectern, free wifi.
  • Baby Change table in accessible toilet

Parking:

Limited street parking is available. There is no designated car park on site.
