The demand for dinghy storage racks at Woollahra Council has reached an all-time high. In response, additional dinghy storage racks have been installed at Rose Bay Park, Tingira Reserve and Gibsons Beach Reserve locations in time for the 2024/25 annual hire agreement renewals. Boosting Woollahra harbourside watercraft storage facilities by 27 per cent, these new spaces are now being allocated to those on our long waiting lists.

At present there is no appropriate space or funding available to install further dinghy storage racks on our foreshores. The council will continue to audit the racks annually and allocate any available spaces to those waiting.

Given the extensive current waiting list times (approximately seven-plus years) we are not currently accepting new applicants. Please consider alternative storage options, such as your local sailing club.
