Rosh Hashanah
On behalf of Woollahra councillors and staff, we would like to wish everyone in the Woollahra Jewish community a happy Rosh Hashanah. Shanah tovah!
Have your say on Hydrogeological, Geotechnical and Vibration Impacts
Council is concerned about impacts of excavation, particularly the potential impact on the structural and geological integrity of buildings in the Rose Bay area which may occur due to groundwater drawdown during excavation.
We have also identified a need for improved controls to manage vibration from construction activities such as building demolition, pile driving, soil compaction and rock excavation, which can negatively impact amenity.
To address these matters, we have prepared draft Development Control Plan and invite you to share your feedback by visiting Your Say Woollahra by 6 October.
