Get ready for the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s 2024 Children’s Book Week, with this year’s theme, Reading is Magic!

Throughout the month of August, community organisations, schools and libraries around the country will take part in Children’s Book Week, celebrating the joys of reading for pleasure with classroom activities, competitions, storytelling sessions and, of course, the popular school book parade.

This is a wonderful opportunity for community to come together around the shared value of reading for pleasure, and to promote reading as an enjoyable and social activity for children and young people.

Join us for a great range of story times, dress ups and craft activities this August at Woollahra Libraries.
