Meet your Ward Councillors

People living or working in the Vaucluse Ward are invited to meet with their Ward Councillors on Tuesday 23 July, 6pm-7.30pm at Woollahra Council Chambers, 536 New South Head Road, Double Bay.

These events will be an ideal opportunity to hear from your Councillors and to share your ideas, concerns and questions ahead of the Local Government election on 14 September. Find out more and RSVP online at Your Say Woollahra.

Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize

In 2023, we received a total of 187 entries from 13 different high schools to our annual Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize.

I’m confident we can top those numbers in 2024, so I encourage all local high school students to consider unleashing their creativity and submitting a photo or short film to this year’s competition before entries close on 26 August.

Cash prizes on offer total more than $2,000 and include a People’s Choice Award, with entries to be exhibited at the Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf from 24 October to 10 November.

Visit Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize for further details.

School holiday magic

Join us these winter school holidays for a magical experience at Woollahra Libraries in Double Bay, Paddington and Watsons Bay!

Activities available from 6-21 July include creating fantasy-themed artwork with watercolours, hunting for magical reading wands to enter the Book Week Magical Quest prize draw, and a mesmerising family-friendly magic show.

Kids can also dive into writing workshops to invent mythical beasts and craft exciting fantasy worlds, and take in special Friday Flicks screenings of Willy Wonka and Matilda.

Visit School holidays for more information and to book.
