New Maternity, Child and Family Health Service
Did you know that there's a brand new Maternity, Child and Family Health Service at our Vaucluse Bowling Club and Community Facility?
I recently stopped by to check it out and am so proud of what we are now able to offer to local parents and families in our LGA through our partnership with the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
Available services include midwifery, antenatal and postnatal assessments as well as early childhood health and developmental checks, breastfeeding support and access to new parent groups.
If you or someone you know is starting a family in the local area, I encourage you to take full advantage of this this fantastic service.
Head to Vaucluse Bowling Club for more info.

Epping Reserve and Kiaora Road Reserve upgrades
Play is such an important part of growing up and we think all play spaces in Woollahra should be fit for everyone.
We also understand the need for more play opportunities for children in our local area and the desire of our community to have more nature-inspired play elements in our parks and reserves.
Our Woollahra Play Space Strategy identified Epping Reserve and Kiaora Road Reserve in Double Bay as appropriate spaces for new nature play elements to help meet community needs, so we have created draft designs for proposed new play elements and are now seeking your feedback - particularly from local parents, carers and children who may use them.
Please share your thoughts at Your Say Woollahra by Wednesday 14 May.
Meet your Bellevue Hill Ward Councillors – last chance to RSVP
Do you live or work in the Bellevue Hill Ward? We are holding a special session on Tuesday 29 April, 6pm-7:30pm at Woollahra Council Chambers in Double Bay which will be the perfect opportunity to meet your Ward Councillors and discuss key issues or concerns.
If you would like to attend, please RSVP and submit a question if you have one by 12pm, Thursday 24 April at Your Say Woollahra.
Anzac Day
The Woollahra community is invited to join our Anzac Day wreath laying ceremony at the Steyne Park cenotaph in Double Bay, 9am-10am on Friday 25 April.
You are welcome to bring a wreath to lay. Rosemary will be supplied to those who wish to take a moment to reflect and remember. Winning students in our 2025 Anzac Day Writing Competition will also read their work at the ceremony.
