Alcohol prohibited at parks and beaches this Australia Day

To safeguard the enjoyment of our public open spaces by all members of the community, our parks and beaches have been declared as alcohol free for Australia Day.

Alcohol Prohibited Areas are in effect from 12:01am on Sunday 26 January, to 12:00pm on Monday 27 January 2025 at the following parks and reserves:

Alcohol is also prohibited on beaches.

The consumption and possession of alcohol is prohibited within these areas mentioned above. The Police have powers to dispose and confiscate alcohol. Fines may also apply.

Signage will be installed at each location to advise visitors of the Alcohol Prohibited Area.
