What you can borrow
Library items may be borrowed for the following periods of time.

You'll need to bring your library card with you to borrow.
Renewals
Not ready to return your items? You can renew your borrowed items on two separate occasions, for three weeks at a time, unless another member has reserved the item. Make sure you renew before the due date, otherwise overdue fines may apply.
Renew online
- Log into member services using your library card number and password (your date of birth in 'ddmmyy' format)
- Tick the boxes next to the items you want to renew
- Press the 'Submit' button
- The updated due date will then be displayed next to each item

FINES FOR OVERDUE ITEMS - PER DAY (GST EXEMPT)
- Adults - $0.35
- Seniors/Pensioners and Children - $0.35
- Maximum charge per item - $15.00
- Fast Reads/Flix service - $1.00
- Fast Reads/Flix maximum charge per item - $25.00
Reservations
If the item you'd like is already loaned by someone else, it is possible to reserve this item.
Reserve online
- Search for the item in the catalogue
- Select the item you require from the search results
- Click the 'Reserve' button Note: If the item is available, place a reserve and the library will put it on hold for free.
- Enter your User ID (your library card number) and Password (default password is your date of birth ddmmyyyy) and click 'Login'.
- Click 'Proceed' button to confirm the reservation.

Reservation fees are non-refundable. Please pay on your next visit.

Can't find what you're looking for?
Members can request materials that are not available in our collection through an inter library loan from other public libraries, universities, or specialist libraries.
We welcome your suggestions for items to purchase and add to our library collection. All requests are considered within our Collection Development Guidelines.
