Library Annual Report 2023-2024

On Monday 9 December 2024 the Finance, Community and Service’s Committee met and adopted the 2023-2024 Library Annual Report(PDF, 16MB).

This year marked the third in our 5 Year Strategic Plan (2021-2026), showcasing Woollahra Libraries' growth and innovation.

We embraced digital transformation with a new website, upgraded public computers, and automated study room systems. New services like Hoopla and PressReader enriched our digital library, while initiatives like Community Access Hours at Watsons Bay improved accessibility. These efforts earned us Libero’s inaugural Innovation Award.

Highlights included record-breaking Spark Truck events, an award-winning Sydney WorldPride program, and a Voice to Parliament dialogue with Thomas Mayo. Our Seed Library and thermal cameras supported sustainability, reflecting Woollahra Council’s environmental goals.
