Member Access Hours
Now live; register to access.

Watsons Bay Library uses technology and security infrastructure to enable our members over the age of 16 to access this branch during specified unstaffed times. Members under 16 are welcome to use the library during these times in the company of a parent or carer.

Approved members use their library membership number or barcode plus PIN to securely enter the building and the access system safely manages and monitors use of the space. Once inside members will have access to the entire Library space, including free Wi-Fi, public computers, and printing services. Library items can be borrowed using our self-checkout kiosk.

Members must have a valid Library card, agree to the terms and conditions(PDF, 651KB) and view the safety induction video.

Watsons Bay Library is accessible by the following Sydney Bus routes: 324, 325, 380. Plan your trip at Transport NSW.

By car

Limited, free street parking is available on surrounding streets.

Wheelchair and pram access

Watsons Bay Library is wheelchair and pram-friendly, with level ramp access at the entrance, access to a disabled toilet and baby change table.

After Hours Returns Chute

Please note that you can return your items in our After Hours Returns Chute when Watsons Bay Library is closed. The chute is located to the left of the entrance doors and is silver in colour.
