The Pride Book Club is going online, to make sure all members of the LGBTQIA+ community can attend.

Held once per month, this book club encourages young adults to read the book, share their thoughts on the text, or relate it to their own experience of being a queer young person.

Participation is not mandatory, attending and listening is a valuable way to be part of the club.

This September, we will discuss Gary Lonesborough’s first book 'The Boy From the Mish', a funny and big-hearted queer Indigenous young adult novel set in a rural Australia Community.

This book is available at Paddington, Watsons Bay and Woollahra Library, with digital versions available online.

This is a hybrid event. Participants can join online or in person. You will be sent a link to a Teams meeting via your registration email 24 hours prior.

The content in this book is suitable for Young People aged 16 years and over. For this iteration of the Pride Book Club, only those ages 16+ can attend.
