Learn how with Emma Darragh, short story writer and winner of the 2024 Readings New Australian Fiction Prize for her short fiction collection, Thanks for Having Me. In this session you will be introduced to short-short stories and get started on one of your own.

Participants will be led through a craft-focused reading of several short stories and will undertake writing activities to generate new ideas. Bring a pen – you will be writing! You'll then have the chance to share and receive supportive feedback in a group setting.
