This workshop covers the basics of internet security: things that can potentially go wrong and the simple steps you can take to avoid them.

The internet is a fundamental part of life now, and there is so much you can do online. But should you trust the internet? The simple answer is yes. With the right tools and a few common sense precautions, you can protect yourself online.

You will also learn what digital assets are and how to manage them. That will include how to keep them secure, to minimise the chance they will be stolen or misused, and how to make sure they are handled properly after you are gone.

This program is a partnership between Woollahra Libraries, NSW Government, Telstra and the State Library of NSW.
