A compelling and beautifully written story, Lonely Mouth explores the conflicted ways women think about their bodies, desires, and identities.
At the heart of the novel are half-sisters Matilda and Lara, who share a complicated past but lead vastly different lives. While Lara embraces a glamorous life in Paris, Matilda seeks control in the fast-paced world of Sydney hospitality. But when their long-absent father reappears, long-buried tensions resurface, forcing Matilda to confront what she truly hungers for.
