School Holiday Fun: 'The Bee Squad' with Judy Friedlander (ages 8-12)

Join author Dr Judy Friedlander and her crew to discover ways we can locally identify and protect our threatened species. Showcasing the importance of bees and our local flora and fauna, learn about pollinators and steps you can take to ‘bee’ a part of this growing revolution for change.

Through a mix of information sharing and hands-on activities, children will engage in sorting, identifying, comparing, creating, and writing—learning practical ways to make a difference from their own backyard or balcony.

Copies of The Bee Squad will be available for purchase and signing on the day, offering additional tips, activities, and a toolkit to keep the learning going.
