Join our talk at Rose Bay foreshore to learn what Council, community and others are doing to keep our harbour and beaches clean.

Join our short walk along the Rose Bay foreshore to see water quality devices and hear about local actions helping to keep our harbour waterways clean and beautiful.

What to expect: This talk will be guided by staff from our Environmental and Infrastructure teams. Discussion will include:

  • What impacts water quality in our area?
  • Local water quality monitoring and swimming in the harbour.
  • Water quality devices and actions that help to remove litter and contaminants.
  • The importance of our trees and green spaces.
  • Our HarbourCare volunteer program and what you can do to help.

Meeting point: We’ll meet in the Tingira Memorial Reserve, near the corner of Vickery Avenue.

What to wear and bring: Please wear a hat, enclosed shoes and clothing to suit the weather conditions. Bring a water bottle and umbrella if rain is predicted.

About the paths: We'll walk along the foreshore area, beaches and footpaths.
