Create your own sea monster from reclaimed cardboard! A family-friendly workshop led by artist Simon Greiner

Join artist Simon Greiner for a unique, hands-on workshop where creativity meets sustainability. Using reclaimed cardboard, participants will design and create their own one-of-a-kind sea monster to take home. This family-friendly workshop is perfect for young imaginations to dive into art and make their own unique carboard creature!

Families and young artists will learn basic sculpting techniques to assemble their creature and add unique details. Using sustainable materials, this workshop celebrates the fun of creating imaginative characters from everyday objects while also encouraging participants to consider the potential of recycled materials in art-making.

With two tailored sessions, for different age groups:

  • Ages 5-11: A child-friendly session where young creators work alongside a parent or guardian.
  • Ages 12+: An independent session for all ages who can work solo under Simon’s guidance.

This family-friendly workshop provides an opportunity for children and parents alike to explore creativity together in a supportive environment, blending art with environmental awareness and imagination. All materials are included, as well as refreshments to keep the creative energy flowing.
