Notice of proposed lease of community land – Watsons Bay Tea Rooms

Pursuant to section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, it is notified that Woollahra Municipal Council (as Watsons Bay Reserve Land Manager) hereby gives notice that it intends, at the expiration of 28 days after the date of publication of this notice, to grant a lease including a licence to the lessee specified in Schedule 1 hereunder, in respect of the land specified in Schedule 2, for the term and purpose specified in Schedule 3.

Watsons Bay Reserve Land Manager (the affairs of which are managed by Woollahra Municipal Council in accordance with the Crown Land Management Act 2016) - Lessor Baithouse Watsons Bay Pty Ltd ACN 628 095 189 - Lessee

SCHEDULE 2
Lease of part of Watsons Bay Reserve at 8 Marine Drive, Watsons Bay comprising the Watsons Bay Tea Rooms and a storage area. The lease includes a non-exclusive licence of the outdoor seating area in the vicinity of the Tea Rooms.

SCHEDULE 3
For a term of five years commencing October / November 2024 with an option to renew for further term of five years. For the purpose of operating a café.
