The Animal Advisory Committee has been established as an advisory body to assist with the refinement of policies and development of plans for companion animals.
The role of the Audit, Risk & Improvement Committee (ARIC) is to provide independent assurance and assistance to the Council on risk management, control, governance, internal audits, organisational performance and external accountability requirements.
The role of the Ecological Sustainability Task Force is to advise Council on the development, implementation and review of strategic and policy documents relating to ecological sustainability within the municipality.
The Floodplain Risk Management Committee has been established as an advisory committee to assist Council in the development and implementation of floodplain risk management plans.
The purpose of the Inclusion (Disability, Aged and Carers) Advisory Committee is to provide lived experience advice on the development, implementation, monitoring and review of Council policies, strategies, plans and infrastructure to assist in making the Woollahra LGA a pleasant place to live and move around for all.
The purpose of the Oxford Street & Paddington Working Party is to support, drive and monitor the implementation of the strategies under the Place Plan. It advises on its specific actions’ priority and projects, including appropriate recommendations for Council consideration of any of its refinements. It also engages with stakeholders, and identifies new opportunities for placemaking initiatives.
The Small Business Working Party is an advisory body to promote and support small business in the Woollahra Local Government Area.
The purpose of the Rose Bay Beach Working Party is to identify the sources of pollution and to identify solutions to improve water quality at Rose Bay Beach.
This committee advises Council on the development and coordination of the Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize.
The purpose of the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee is to support the Council in the development, delivery and implementation of actions and priorities identified in the Arts and Culture Strategy.
This Working Party was established by Council resolution on 23 April 2012, with the aim to consider existing Council owned and managed property assets and any potential future property assets.
The purpose of the Paddington Heritage Conservation Area Working Party is to:- Support and provide input to a review of Chapter C1 Paddington Heritage Conservation Area (HCA) of the Woollahra DCP 2015 as required by the Council.- Discuss matters relating to the Paddington Heritage Conservation Area (HCA).- May make recommendations to be included in a staff report to the EP Committee.
The Public Art Panel was established with the aim to advise and provide curatorial expertise to Council for The Public Art Gallery to collect, preserve, commission, display and promote works of art for the benefit, enjoyment and cultural advantage of the residents and visitors of the Municipality of Woollahra.
