Congratulations to our Business Sector Support Grant recipients for 2024/25

Business Sector Support Grant recipients support local businesses and economic development in the Woollahra LGA through marketing and promoting local businesses; facilitating educational workshops and seminars, information sharing, business training, and regular networking opportunities; attracting trade, talent, new businesses and investment into Woollahra LGA.

Business Sector Support Grant recipients for 2024/2025 are:

  • The Paddington Chamber of Commerce
  • Paddo(collective)
  • The Bay Street Initiative

When is the next round of Grant funding?

Our next grant round is expected to open in April 2025.

If you are interested in applying for a grant in our 2025/2026 round, please fill out the Grants Expression of Interest form and we will add you to our grants promotions list.

The key dates for 2025/2026 are:

  • Early April 2025 - grant applications open
  • Early May 2025 - grant applications close
  • Late June 2025 - grants announced
  • 1 July 2025 - grant projects can commence

Who can apply?

Business Sector Support Grants support projects and programs by organisations (including business chambers) that have an ABN and carry out the following activities:

  • Supports local businesses and economic development in the Woollahra LGA.
  • Markets and promotes local businesses in the Woollahra LGA.
  • Facilitates educational workshops and seminars, information sharing, business training, and regular networking opportunities.
  • Attracts trade, talent, new businesses and investment into Woollahra LGA.

Grants are available of up to $10,000 per Business Sector Support organisation. The amount of funding provided will depend on the individual merits of the funding request.

The merits of funding requests will be influenced by proposed economic benefits of intended activities.
