Accessibility
We encourage a community that is accessible, inclusive and fair to all residents, workers and visitors of Woollahra.
A wide range of our venues, open spaces and events have dedicated accessibility features to ensure they can be used and enjoyed by all.
Woollahra Libraries
Woollahra Libraries are fully accessible to persons with disabilities. Our buildings are accessible and the Online Library is always open! As a library member you can download or stream a range of books, audio, films and magazines for free to your device or computer at any time, from anywhere. Our eAudiobook collection that can be accessed 24/7 and our ebooks, and eMagazines experiences can be tailored to suit your reading needs, including font size and high contrast display options. The library also offers a selection of titles available on film streaming service Beamafilm that offer closed captions.
We have recently expanded our online presence producing a collection of digital events that can be viewed anytime, anywhere. The Home Library Service is available to library members who are unable to visit because of illness or disability. Library staff select items from our collection based on members' preferences, and deliveries are made monthly.
We are constantly working towards greater accessibility. If you have a suggestion or comment on accessibility please contact us.
